On the default en_GB i have a default post category called news. The slug is also news.
But on the telescopicmast.com/us site i'm using en_US and i want the same category 'news'.
Solution:
If you go to POsts -> Post categories and click on English US, you will see a list of the English US categories. You can use the quick edit option and edit the slug there.
