Background of the issue:
I am trying to install ACFML to translate ACF Custom Fields used throughout the site. I expected the plugin to activate successfully.

Symptoms:
Instead, I got a Fatal PHP Error: Uncaught TypeError: ACFMLStringsFieldHooks::shouldSkipField(): Argument #1 ($field) must be of type array, null given. The error occurred in /home/customer/www/optris.com/public_html/wp-content/plugins/acfml/classes/Strings/FieldHooks.php on line 122.
