Background of the issue:
I am trying to re-add a custom language to my site קישור נסתר using WPML. I had previously added this language but accidentally deactivated it. The language is Portuguese Brazil, and I want it to appear as 'pt' instead of 'pr-br'.

Symptoms:
I am receiving a notice that 'The code already exists' when trying to re-add the custom language.

Questions:
How can I re-add a custom language that was previously deactivated?
How do I change the language code from 'pr-br' to 'pt' without losing content?
