Background of the issue:
I am encountering a critical issue with WPML on my website קישור נסתר. I am trying to create a French menu via Appearance > Menus. The theme is Astra, with Elementor and WooCommerce. I have reviewed multiple WPML documentation articles related to menu synchronization, translation priorities, string translation, and language switching behavior.

Symptoms:
When I add a translated page to the French menu and click 'Save Menu', the menu resets to empty. Additionally, when browsing in French, the site switches back to English when navigating to another page.

Questions:
Why do translated menu items disappear after saving in WPML?
How can I prevent the site from switching back to English when browsing in French?
