Background of the issue:
I have created some custom fields on my site קישור נסתר. I am trying to ensure that translations of the empty string values in the translated language are stored correctly in the database.

Symptoms:
When I have an empty string value in the original language, it is stored as NULL in the database for translated content, causing inconsistencies in data.

Questions:
Why does WPML store empty string values as NULL for translated content?
