I am trying to translate the Complianz Cookie Banner on our website but WPML won't allow me.
We have been having problems with this for over a year (we have opened support tickets about it). We had our website in spanish as first language and the cookie banner was always showing in spanish, both in the spanish and english version.
However, we have decided to change the main language of our site to english. And in the cookie banner settings I have changed all the strings so they are in english by default.
But now, in spanish it is also showing in englih.
And in the string translation the english strings won't show up to be translated.
I have tried to:
- Clear WPML cache
- Clear a bunch of other things
- Rescan for string on the plugin
- Delete the string domains of the plugin
- Activate the option to register strings when "Untranslated strings that all logged in, logged out users, and site visitors encounter"
And even like that, my english strings are not showing up to be translated. And I can't create the Spanish translations.
