Background of the issue:
I have translated a site into German, and now I would like to add Austrian German language to the website.

From similar posts on the forum, it seems the steps are:
- Creating a custom language for Austrian German
- Bulk duplicating the German pages into Austrian German via the WPML duplication interface

However, I would like to avoid having to regularly duplicate the German content into Austrian German when a German translation is updated.

Symptoms:
I want to avoid manually keeping the content in sync between German and Austrian German.

Questions:
Is there a way to constantly synchronize both languages (while keeping different folders like /de/ and /de-at/) without having to manually keep the content in sync?
Is it possible to automate this duplication through a WPML hook after translating a German page with some code ?
