[נפתר] ACF fields are being synced to translations every time I edit them even with 'copy once' enabled

We have a set of pages that were created with Advanced Custom Fields flexible content fields. The original English page was then translated across several different languages. The pages are now updated manually. The English page is now different from the translated version as the language pages haven't been translated yet, but do need updated to reflect new assets.

The problem is that when trying to empty ACF fields in the language versions the English value is getting copied into the field.
