Problem: The client reported an issue where translations completed in the Advanced Translation Editor (ATE) remained in the 'in progress' state and were not applied to the website when returned to WordPress. This problem persisted despite using the Classic Translation Editor without issues. Solution: We advised the client to perform a full backup and then navigate to WPML > Support > Troubleshooting. Here, they were instructed to click on all options except those labeled 'reset'. After completing these steps, the client was to create a new test page and translate it using ATE to check if the issue was resolved. Additionally, we identified a mismatch in the Automatic Translation Account ID in the WPML settings, which we corrected from our side. This adjustment appeared to resolve the translation application issue.
