The client was concerned about potential misconfiguration or bugs affecting the site's functionality. Solution: 1. We recommended temporarily disabling the WPML plugin by renaming its folder in wp-content/plugins, which the hosting provider could assist with. 2. We advised increasing the WordPress memory limit by adding the following line to the wp-config.php file:
3. Upon receiving access credentials, we identified that the home URL was missing in the database. After adding the correct home URL, the issue with the URLs was resolved. 4. It is safe to activate additional WPML plugins such as WPML Multilingual CMS and WPML String Translation, and further plugins like Advanced Custom Fields Multilingual can also be included without issues.
