Problem: The client was experiencing an issue where a cogwheel icon appeared and persisted after translating a page using WPML, preventing visibility of the changes. Solution: 1. We recommended updating WPML to the latest version, 4.8, and checking if the issue persists. 2. We identified that the site was getting blocked, which interfered with the completion of translations. We suggested deactivating the Ultimate Member - reCAPTCHA plugin and the cache plugin to resolve the issue. 3. After testing locally without these plugins, the translation worked correctly. We advised the client to try the same on their site. 4.
