Problem:
The client was experiencing issues with translating Elementor templates for the header and footer using the Eduma theme. The new translated content was not appearing after translation.
Solution:
1. We recommended installing a required add-on for the Eduma theme to ensure full compatibility with WPML. More information can be found here: https://wpml.org/theme/eduma/
2. We advised increasing the WordPress memory limit to a minimum of 128MB, suggesting to add the following code to the

wp-config.php

file:

/* Memory Limit */<br />define('WP_MEMORY_LIMIT', '256M');

This code should be placed above the line /* That's all, stop editing! Happy blogging. */
3. We provided a guide for translating Elementor templates and asked the client to follow the steps outlined here: https://wpml.org/documentation/plugins-compatibility/elementor/#translate-elementor-templates
4. We requested the client to update all outdated plugins to avoid potential conflicts.
5. We translated the footer shortcode ID in WPML -> String Translation and registered the elements within the footer using custom XML code, following the guide here: https://wpml.org/documentation/plugins-compatibility/elementor/how-to-add-wpml-support-to-custom-elementor-widgets/
After these steps, the footer template translation was updated and the issue was resolved.
