The client had already attempted several troubleshooting steps including rebuilding links, using WPML troubleshooting tools, clearing caches, re-saving permalinks, and verifying translations. Solution: We recommended creating a staging site to safely run tests without affecting the live site. After the client set up the staging site and provided access, we adjusted the WPML settings. Specifically, we changed the configuration in
WPML -> Settings -> Post type translation -> Products
to 'Translatable - only show translated items' and flushed the cache. This resolved the issue with the language switcher.
