Problem: The client was experiencing 404 errors when trying to open translated product brand pages. The issue was intermittent, with the pages sometimes loading correctly and sometimes not, even without any changes being made.
Solution: We first asked the client to clarify how they were translating the slug for "brands" and to try re-saving the permalinks from WP-Admin -> Settings -> Permalinks. Upon further investigation, we found that the client was translating the product brand slug in WPML -> Settings -> Taxonomies Translation and also in WPML -> String Translation. We instructed the client to delete the strings from WPML -> String Translation and identified an additional problematic string from the domain "wpbingo" in WPML -> String Translation, which we removed. We advised the client to translate the "brand" slug only from WPML -> Settings -> Taxonomies Translation.
