Problem: The client was experiencing an issue where custom taxonomy terms had incorrect original languages after enabling taxonomy translation in the settings. Some terms were showing Greek as the original language, while others were showing Russian.
Solution: 1. We recommended the client to perform a site backup before making any changes. 2. Navigate to Properties >> Amenities. 3. Use the dashboard language switcher to switch to the Greek language. 4. Click the 'Edit' link for the term. 5. Change the language of the term to English and save the changes. 6. Repeat the steps for terms created in Russian.
In a follow-up message, we clarified that it is not possible to directly change the language of a translation term to the original language. Instead, the client should: 1. Select 'This is a translation of: None' to unset the translation. 2. Save the changes. 3. Then, select the desired language for the term.
