Problem:
The client is experiencing an issue where archive pages are being incorrectly redirected, such as

http://local.avery-berkel/en/dealer-resources/

redirecting to

http://local.avery-berkel/enen/dealer-resources/

. The problem seems to be with the

WPML_Canonicals_Hooks

class and specifically the

redirectArchivePageToDefaultLangDir

method, which is causing unwanted redirects due to a mismatch in the URI structure.
Solution:
1) We recommend trying the fix provided in the WPML errata for redirection issues in multisite network with sub-folder installation. You can find the errata here:

2) If the issue persists, please confirm and check the issue with the WordPress default theme and without any additional plugins to ensure that the issue is not caused by any custom code in your theme.
