Problem:
You are experiencing an issue with your WPML installation on a multisite setup where you cannot unregister the current key via the 'Unregister' button in Settings > Installer, as the site still shows that it is registered.
Solution:
If you're facing this issue, we recommend following these steps:
1. Ensure that the OTGS Installer is activated. According to our documentation on multisite support, you should register your main site first, which applies the same site key to all subsites.
2. To change the key, navigate to My Sites → Network Admin.
3. Attempt to unregister the site from the Network Admin area. It's important to note that you might not be able to unregister a specific site (subsite) directly.
