Problem: You are trying to translate a page using WPML and have encountered issues where the Advanced Translation Editor (ATE) failed to translate the page multiple times. Solution: If you have used ATE before, or if the site was previously hosted on a different domain, follow these steps:
Step 1: Backup the Site Ensure you have a full backup of your site to prevent any data loss.
Step 2: Use Adminer to Reset ATE 1. Access Adminer or another database management tool. 2. Delete the following database entries: -
WPML_TM_AMS

WPML_SITE_ID:ate

WPML_SITE_ID:global
3. Save the changes, then proceed to the next step.
Step 3: Reactivate ATE via WPML Settings 1. Go to WPML → Settings → Editor for new translations. 2. Switch from Advanced Translation Editor (recommended) to Classic Translation Editor. 3. Then switch back from Classic Translation Editor to Advanced Translation Editor.
This should re-enable ATE on your site.
