Problem: The client has translated their website into 10 different languages using WPML, but the FAQs are not being translated and do not appear in the translation managers. Changes made in the strings do not take effect. Solution: We identified that there might have been a mix-up in the translation methods used, which could cause issues. We integrated an XML configuration to ensure the FAQs can be managed and translated correctly. Here is the XML configuration that we added:
After adding this configuration, the FAQs became visible in the Translation Editor and were recognized as translated by the Translation Memory, displaying correctly on the frontend. If you're experiencing this issue, we recommend checking your XML configuration and ensuring it is correctly set up as shown above.
