Problem: You are trying to translate a string in the WooCommerce Product Addon plugin using WPML, but WPML does not detect the translatable string 'validate_msg' => __( 'is a required field', 'woocommerce-product-addon'). Problem: The client was unable to update the link targets for two buttons in the top slider element on their multilingual website. While one link could be found and edited in the Advanced Translation Editor (ATE), it did not reflect on the live site.
Additionally, the second link was missing from the ATE and could not be updated.
Solution: 1. We asked the client to clear the website's cache using the "WP-Optimize Premium - Clean, Compress, Cache" plugin and then disable it. 2. We instructed the client to set the German links the same as in the Dutch version, using the Enfold page builder instead of setting them manually. 3. We recommended making minor changes to the default language page and updating it to trigger an update on the translations. 4. We suggested testing in a minimal setup environment with only the theme, WPML plugins, and essential plugins active. 5. We provided a custom XML configuration code to add to the WPML -> Settings -> Custom XML Configuration tab:

Problem: The customer wants more control over the maximum cost of automatically translating the entire website and wants to know if it is possible to exclude certain content from the 'Translate everything' feature '. Solution: We do not have user options to set limits on translation credit usage. The €100 and €4000 limits only apply to sites that have not yet processed credit payments and are a security measure.
To exclude certain types of content from automatic translation, you can do so in the WPML settings under 'Post Type Translation', and adjust the option 'Translate everything automatically'.
Also, you can deactivate the WPML translation editor by changing the translation method to 'WordPress Editor'. This can be done for the current content, all content of the same type, or all content on the site.

Problem: The client is trying to use automatic translation for various pages and posts on their website. They encountered an issue where a page translated 100% in the Advanced Translation Editor was not fully appearing on the live site. Additionally, the automatic translation status was stuck on 'Refreshing translation status' and the WPML admin bar showed 'Automatic translation status 0 / 2, 0%, less than 1 min remaining' for an extended period. Solution: 1. We identified that the Website ID used by the Advanced Translation Editor (ATE) to process translations was different from the one registered on the ATE server. We updated the website with the correct ID, which allowed the translation to be processed immediately by ATE and the translation started to appear correctly on the frontend. 2. For a post that was stuck in an 'in-progress' state, we changed the translation method by accessing the post, clicking on the Gear icon, and selecting manual translation.
