Problem: The client is experiencing an issue where Advanced Custom Fields (ACF) are displaying in both French (FR) and Dutch (NL) on the same product, despite having set up translations correctly.
Solution: 1. We advised the client to ensure that in WPML > Settings > Post Types Translation, the translation preference for "Field Groups (acf-field-group)" should be set to "Not translatable". 2. Before changing the translation preference, the client should delete all French translations of the field groups. 3. After making the post-type "Field Groups" not translatable, the client should delete any French field groups from ACF > Field Groups, leaving only the Dutch groups. 4. Field values within these groups can be set to "Copy" or "Translatable", depending on whether they should be copied from the Dutch version or translated into French. 5. Field labels (the name of the field, not the value) can be translated in WPML > String Translation.
