Problem:
If you're experiencing issues with URLs being incorrectly generated with repeated language codes, like 'https:///en/en/en/en…', when switching languages on specific subpages, this might be due to incorrect settings.
Solution:
First, we recommend checking the URLs in your WordPress Settings under General to ensure they are set correctly. If these settings appear correct, the issue might be due to a missing value in your database that affects URL generation. We resolved a similar issue by adding the necessary value HomeURL to the database to the wp_options table. If this solution seems irrelevant or outdated, or if you're still facing issues, please check the related known issues and confirm that you have installed the latest versions of themes and plugins.
