Overview of the issue

When you migrate a site from Divi 4 to Divi 5 while using WPML, the content of pages in the original language may become empty after the migration. This affects both the backend editor and the frontend display. Translated pages continue to display their content correctly.

Workaround

Before migrating to Divi 5, please, make sure of having a full site backup of your site before proceeding.

  • Deactivate WPML.
  • Run the migration to Divi 5.
  • Reactivate WPML.
