I've already done it several times, no warnings or fatal errors, only the usual deprecations.

To better assist you, I’ll need either temporary access to your website or a Duplicator package so I can install your site locally and test the issue in a controlled environment.
You can create the Duplicator package using the Duplicator plugin.
Please let me know what you think and which option you’d prefer.

I rolled back PHP to version 7.4, and the error disappeared, but it's not good to keep the site on the old version of PHP.

Thank you for your feedback.
Please try using a slightly lower PHP version, such as 8.2.x or 8.3.x.
In the meantime, I’ll run some local tests using your current PHP version to see if I can reproduce the issue.

I ran several tests on local installations and was able to reproduce a similar issue on one of them with PHP 8.4.x. However, after updating WPML to version 4.8.3, the problem no longer occurs.
We’ve just released this new version. You can check the latest releases under My Account → Downloads on our website.
Instructions for updating WPML can be found here:
http://wpml.org/faq/install-wpml/
If you don’t see the update right away, click the Check for updates button under Plugins → Add New Plugin → Commercial.
