Problem:
You are experiencing an issue where the English language content is being overwritten with the default language when publishing, despite using the latest updates and being unable to disable String Translation.
Solution:
We recommend using the WPML Advanced Translation Editor to prevent your translated content from being unintentionally overwritten when the original content is updated. As a workaround, you can add the following constant to your wp-config.php file:

define('WPML_TRANSLATION_AUTO_UPDATE_ENABLED', false);
