Problem: The client is experiencing issues with shortcodes not appearing correctly in the Advanced Translation Editor (ATE). Specifically, the shortcode [onebaseMFT] does not display as expected in the translated version, affecting the placement and formatting of text around it. Solution: 1. Ensure the shortcode is registered in the WPML configuration. If not, add a custom XML configuration in WPML > Settings > Custom XML Configuration:
2. After updating the configuration, edit the original content to include the shortcode, save the page, and then update the translation. 3. If the shortcode still does not appear correctly, it may be necessary to manually adjust the translated content using the WordPress Editor. 4. As a workaround, modify the shortcode to include text directly within it, using a placeholder that can be replaced during translation, e.g., [shortcode]text %s[/shortcode] and translate to %s text.
