Today, we released WPML 4.6.14 beta, fully compatible with WordPress 6.7, and it’s now available for testing on your website.

To make sure WPML continues working smoothly on your website, we’re making our new compatible version, WPML 4.6.14 beta, available for early testing ahead of the upcoming WordPress update.

Starting today, you’ll have over three weeks to test WPML on your site and confirm you’re fully compatible with WordPress 6.7.

What’s new in WordPress 6.7 and WPML 4.6.14?

WordPress 6.7 is changing the editing screen for Patterns so you won’t see the WPML Languages section when editing patterns anymore.

No problem, simply go to WPMLTranslation Management and send your patterns for translation there.

This change in WordPress 6.7 goes hand-in-hand with the upcoming workflow improvements we’re preparing in WPML 4.7. With the new version, Translation Dashboard will become the one place you need to translate your whole site.

Additional Fixes in this Release

In addition to ensuring full compatibility with WordPress 6.7, WPML 4.6.14 also brings a few fixes for both WPML core and String Translation:

  • Hiding unnecessary warning messages on the front and back-end
  • Fixing issues with untranslated strings appearing in secondary languages

Updating to WPML 4.6.14 Beta

WPML 4.6.14 beta is currently available for manual installation, with the production release scheduled for early November, closer to the WordPress 6.7 release.

To install WPML 4.6.14 beta right away, you need to switch to the beta release channel of WPML. For step-by-step instructions, see our switching to beta channel tutorial.
