Problem: The client was experiencing issues with exporting XLIFF files, which appeared to be corrupted when attempting to download them.
Solution: We noticed that the client was using PHP 8.2, which could be causing compatibility issues, as WordPress is only fully compatible with PHP up to version 8.0. We found that disabling all plugins except WPML allowed for normal downloads of pages, but the issue reappeared when the String Translation plugin was enabled. We recommended the client to downgrade their PHP version to 8.1 or 8.0 to see if the problem persists.
