Problem:
The client changed the post type translation of 'post' to translatable, which unexpectedly duplicated products in the original language.
Solution:
We analyzed the issue and found that the duplication only affects the default language, with all post IDs being unique. Each duplicated product was created as a WPML duplicate based on another product. This issue does not appear to be directly caused by WPML, as translations typically do not create duplicates within the same language. It is also unlikely related to recent changes in post translation settings, as the affected products date back to an earlier time. If you're experiencing this issue, we recommend checking if there were any changes in the default language settings or other significant modifications around the time the issue was first noticed.
