Problem:
The client is experiencing an issue where, after an automatic WordPress update, all strings are displayed in English instead of Croatian.
Solution:
First, we recommend enabling the option "Look for strings while pages are rendered" in WPML -> String Translation to see if the strings load correctly. Remember to disable this option after testing, as it can slow down the site.
Next, navigate to WPML > Support > Troubleshooting and click on "Show custom MO Files Pre-generation dialog box" to generate .mo files. This might resolve the issue.
If the problem persists, check for updates in the WPML plugins:
- Go to Plugins -> Add New in your wp-admin.
- Click on the "Commercial" tab.
- Click on the "Check for updates" button in the WPML section.
- Select all red plugins and click on "Download" at the bottom of the grid.
After updating, regenerate the MO Files by going to WPML > Support > Troubleshooting and clicking on "Show custom MO Files Pre-generation dialog box" again.
