Problem:
The client was trying to network activate WPML Multilingual CMS on a WordPress Multisite installation but encountered issues.

Solution:
1. We asked the client to enable error logging by adding the following lines to the

wp-config.php

file:

define('WP_DEBUG', true);<br />define('WP_DEBUG_LOG', true);<br />define('WP_DEBUG_DISPLAY', false);

2. After reviewing the debug.log file, we determined that the issue was not with WPML but with the "MarceloSolis" theme.
3. We advised the client to switch to a default theme like "Twenty Twenty-One" to see if the issue persisted.
4. We suggested downloading the latest version of WPML from the WPML account downloads page and trying to activate it.
5. If the problem continued, we recommended deactivating all plugins and then trying to activate WPML and the String Translation, followed by reactivating other plugins one by one.
6. The client resolved the issue by updating the plugin.
