Background of the issue:
I have created a WooCommerce online store for a client in two languages: Croatian and English, with Croatian as the default language. The client now wants the website to be in English and German, with English as the default language, and Croatian removed. I have added German, removed Croatian, and set English as the default language. The products were initially added in Croatian and automatically translated to English using WPML. Now, when I edit existing products, some fields are locked. URL: link oculto
Symptoms:
Some fields are locked when editing existing products after changing the default language from Croatian to English.
Questions:
Are the fields locked because I am opening products in a language they were translated into from Croatian?
Is it possible to change it so that English is now the default language and I can access these fields in English?
Do I need to delete all these products and recreate them in English instead of Croatian?
I hope there is an easier way than deleting and recreating everything only because I changed languages.
