We're ditching Elementor and rebuild all our content on Gutenberg/custom blocks.
However, we have a lot of content integrated with Elementor.
I want to be able to change original page editor (Elementor > Gutenberg), without disabling Elementor along on the translations at the same time. to prevent breaking all the translation's content until I adjust them individually.
Please find attached my current settings (the hidden setting is _elementor_popup_display_settings).
AI sugests to set all the _elementor_ system fields to "Don't translate""
1. Can you please confirm moving all the settings to "Don't translate" is the right move?
Also, as you can see on the screenshot, the interface says these settings are set from a wpml-config.xml file, while I can't find any Elementor translations settings in any of my wpml-config.xml files.
2. Why this message ?
Finally, if I proceed to the advised WPML settings on a test environment, everything seems to work fine: I can disable Elementor on the original page, without breaking its translations, which will remain on Elementor until I change this manually.
So this seems to prove the _elementor settings aren't ruled by a wpml-conf.xml file at all...
3. Does this make sense with this warning?
