[Fechado] How to prevent images to being duplicated on all other languages for nothing?

Background of the issue:
I'm trying to understand how to prevent WPML from creating unnecessary media duplications. I uploaded an image in the default language (FR) with all settings checked except 'Translate media library texts with posts' in WPML > Settings > Media Translation.

Symptoms:
WPML may be creating a duplicate for every language for each media uploaded, including all thumbnails, which might explain the huge disk storage usage.

Questions:
Does WPML create a duplicate for every language for each media uploaded?
How can I configure media translation settings to prevent unnecessary media duplications?

I just want other translated posts to use the default (FR) images if no translated media were being uploaded, so we don't have a "new" media in the server uploads folder or nor in the database, does it make sense?
