X Theme / Cornerstone - Certain Widgets are Untranslatable Using Advanced Translation Editor (ATE)

Overview of the issue

Several widgets in the X Theme / Cornerstone allow the insertion of other widgets, such as the Text widget. However, these nested widgets cannot be translated using WPML’s Advanced Translation Editor (ATE).  As a result, while a part of the content is available in ATE, the nested widgets remain untranslatable.

This issue affects a wide range of widgets, limiting the full translation of pages or portfolios created with them.

Workaround

This issue appears to be due to certain widgets operating as both « module » (container) and « node » (content) simultaneously. At this moment, we do not have a general workaround for this issue.
