Problem:
The client reported an issue where variable products randomly displayed as 'out of stock and unavailable' after WPML was uninstalled. The client suspected that WPML might have been uninstalled incorrectly, potentially leaving duplicate variations in the database.
Solution:
We recommended following a specific guide to ensure that WPML was uninstalled correctly, which can be found here: WPML Reset Guide.
If the problem persists after following the reset process, it is unlikely that WPML is the cause. We suggested further investigation by allowing us access to the site to potentially escalate the issue to our second-tier supporters. We also emphasized the importance of security and privacy, advising the client to back up site files and database before providing access, and preferably sharing access to a staging site if available.

Problema:
O cliente está utilizando o WPML para traduzir seu site e gostaria de saber se há uma forma de traduzir páginas sem que estas sejam duplicadas na base de dados. Ele deseja traduzir apenas as strings dos blocos existentes na página original, sem criar uma nova entrada para cada tradução.
Solução:
Nós explicamos que não é possível utilizar o WPML sem que novos itens sejam criados na tabela wp_posts para cada tradução. O WPML cria uma nova entrada na base de dados para cada tradução de posts, páginas e tipos de post personalizados (CPTs), o que é necessário para manter uma estrutura organizada e para que cada versão traduzida possa ser gerida individualmente. Mesmo que alguns textos de plugins e temas possam ser traduzidos diretamente no banco de dados ou em arquivos de tradução, as páginas e posts precisam de uma versão específica para cada idioma.

Problemas de Tradução após Mudança de WP Bakery Visual Composer para Elementor

Problema:
Após mudar o construtor de páginas de WP Bakery Visual Composer para Elementor e alterar o método de tradução de Classic Translation para Advanced Translation, o cliente ainda visualiza strings relacionadas ao Visual Composer (vc_column_) mesmo após atualizar o conteúdo da página principal com Elementor.
Solução:
1. Faça um backup do site por precaução.
2. Edite a página principal usando o editor do WordPress e anote o ID da página, que pode ser encontrado na URL após o parâmetro 'post='.
3. Acesse WPML -> Pacotes e procure pelo pacote correspondente à página com o problema.
4. Selecione e remova o pacote.
5. Retorne à página na língua original e edite-a com Gutenberg ou Elementor, fazendo uma pequena alteração, como adicionar um espaço em branco, e salve para que o WPML reconheça que a tradução também precisa ser atualizada.
6. Vá para WPML -> Gestão de Tradução, procure pela página em questão e envie-a para tradução manual.
7. Na mesma tela, vá para a aba cesta de tradução ou Translation Basket e atribua o trabalho ao primeiro tradutor disponível.
8. Edite novamente a tradução utilizando o ATE e verifique se os campos estão atualizados.

Problem:
After switching from classic translation to advanced translation in WPML, all products with variations required manual updating to display correctly.
Solution:
1. Ensure you back up your site for safety.
2. Navigate to WooCommerce >> WooCommerce Multilingual >> Settings tab >> Troubleshooting link (bottom right) and select the following options:
- Sync products variations
- Fix translated variations relationships
- Update Products Count
- Sync product categories
- Sync product stock quantity and status
Then, click the 'Start' button.
3. If the issue persists, proceed to WPML >> Support >> Troubleshooting page and press the following buttons:
- Clear the cache in WPML
- Synchronize posts taxonomies
- Synchronize local job ids with ATE jobs
- Synchronize translators and translation managers with ATE
- Assign translation status to duplicated content
- Set language information
4. If none of the above steps resolve the issue, try re-saving one of the problematic products in both the default and secondary languages.

Problem:
The client reported that the order status in their WooCommerce order list was not being translated correctly, with only the first line appearing in Portuguese.
Solution:
We recommended the client to first deactivate all plugins except for WPML, WooCommerce Multilingual & Multicurrency, and WooCommerce to troubleshoot the issue. We also advised ensuring a database backup before making any changes.
Upon further investigation, we identified an issue with the Order Delivery Date Pro for WooCommerce plugin. We provided a workaround:
1. Navigate to the
wp-content/plugins/order-delivery-date/includes/orddd-common.php file.
2. Open the file and locate line 506 (
require_once ABSPATH . 'wp-admin/includes/file.php'; ).
3. Directly after line 506, insert the following code:
load_default_textdomain( 'en_GB' ); 4. Locate line 562 (
return $delivery_date_formatted; ) and before it, add:
load_default_textdomain($initial_locale); 5. Save the changes.
These changes were applied to the client's staging website, and we will notify the plugin author about the necessary modifications.

Problem:
Clients reported that product variations were not visible when changing the language, despite all attributes being translated.
Solution:
First, ensure that the "Adjust IDs for multilingual functionality" option is enabled. You can find this by navigating to WPML > Languages > Make themes work multilingual. Enabling this option should make the variation swatches appear in other languages.
Next, check if Object Cache is activated by going to Settings > Object Caches. If it is, try disabling it, as it may interfere with the display of variations in different languages. If you need to keep Object Cache enabled, try translating one product with the cache turned on to see if the issue persists.
