Background of the issue:
Our main language is German, and we are currently translating into an English version. The English version is set up as a sub-directory /en/ and is currently hidden. We are also using WooCommerce. I wanted to use the 'Translate Link Targets' function to update internal links.
Symptoms:
The 'Translate Link Targets' function is not working as expected. For example, in the footer block, a link to the home page link oculto is not changed to link oculto. Some other links in the footer are not translated, possibly because there is no corresponding page in English. Links in posts pointing to products are not translated to the English version even though a target page exists. Changing the settings to use a separate domain for the English version instead of the /en/ sub-directory did not work in our test site.
