Solution: The issue was identified with the "ga_IE" locale, which is not supported on translate.wordpress.org, and should be set to "ga" (Irish Gaelic) instead. There is no .mo file available in wp-content/languages/ for the current locale, and the translation progress for this locale is below the required threshold, preventing automatic downloads. We recommended using the LocoTranslate plugin to translate the default strings. The client should specify the language as a custom option within LocoTranslate and proceed with translating the months accordingly. This solution was confirmed to work as the client successfully translated the default months using LocoTranslate.
