Histórico da questão:
I am trying to ensure that translation icons are only displayed when a translation is available. Currently, the 'EN' icon is showing for content that does not have an English translation. This issue can be seen on the page: link oculto.
Sintomas:
The 'EN' icon is displayed in the menu for content without an English translation, and clicking it shows the content in Portuguese. These incorrect links are being indexed by Google.
Perguntas:
How can I prevent translation icons from displaying when there is no translation available?
How can I remove the incorrect links that are being indexed by Google?
It might be the case that you have set "Clippings" inside WPML > Settings > Post Type Translation to "Translatable - or fallback to site default language if a translation does not exist".
Make sure to use "Translatable - only display translated items".
Best regards
Andreas
