Avada – Form Submission Not Working on Translated Pages

Overview of the Issue

Using forms created with the Avada theme’s Forms Builder are not functioning correctly when submitted from a translated page.

This issue is fixed in Avada 7.11.12. Updating solves it on your site, so you only need this workaround if you can’t update yet.

Please, make sure of having a full site backup of your site before proceeding.

Open …/wp-content/plugins/fusion-builder/inc/class-fusion-form-submit.php file.
Look for line 422.

Replace:

$site_host_name = preg_replace( '(^https?://)', '', home_url() );

With:

$site_host_name = preg_replace( '#^www.#', '', wp_parse_url( network_home_url(), PHP_URL_HOST ) );
