Issues Calling wp_get_archives on a Custom Post Type Set as “Do Not Translate”

Overview of the Issue

If you have a custom post type that you have set to Do not translate in WPMLSettingsPost Types Translation and you call wp_get_archives for that custom post type, no archives are displayed.

Workaround

This issue is fixed. Updating to the latest version solves it on your site, so you only need this workaround if you can’t update yet.

Our developers are working on fixing this. As a workaround, please set the post type to display as translated.

To do this,

  1. Go to WPMLSettings.
  2. Scroll to the Post Types Translation section.
  3. Set your post type as Translatable – use translation if available or fallback to default language
