Issues calling wp_get_archives on a custom post type set as "Do not translate"

Overview of the issue

If you have a custom post type that you have set to Do not translate in WPML → Settings → Post Types Translation and you call wp_get_archives for that custom post type, no archives are displayed.

Workaround

Our developers are working on fixing this. As a workaround, please set the post type to display as translated.

To do this,

  1. Go to WPML → Settings.
  2. Scroll to the Post Types Translation section.
  3. Set your post type as Translatable – use translation if available or fallback to default language
