Overview of the Issue
When using Unlimited Elements for Elementor with WPML, you might experience the following issue: images translated using WPML’s Media Translation may appear in the default site language. This typically affects image widgets like CoverFlow Carousel.
Workaround
This issue is fixed in Unlimited Elements for Elementor 2.0. Updating solves it on your site, so you only need this workaround if you can’t update yet.
Please, make sure of having a full site backup of your site before proceeding.
- Open the …/wp-content/plugins/unlimited-elements-for-elementor/provider/wpml_integrate.class.php file.
- Look for line 156.
- Replace:
$alternateThumbID = apply_filters( 'wpml_object_id', $thumbID, 'attachment', false, self::$objWpmlSingleton->activeLanguage );
- With:
$current_lang = apply_filters( 'wpml_current_language', null ); $alternateThumbID = apply_filters( 'wpml_object_id', $thumbID, 'attachment', false, $current_lang );
