WPML

Overview of the Issue

When using WPML Multilingual & Multicurrency for WooCommerce, translating a product category that has an image assigned to it may result in the image not being copied to the translated category.

Workaround

This issue is fixed. Updating to the latest version solves it on your site, so you only need this workaround if you can’t update yet.

  • Go to WPMLSettingsCustom Term Meta Translation
  • Set “thumbnail_id” to COPY
  • Re-save your default language category — the image should now be copied to the translated version.
  • It will work fine with any new translation also.
