Background of the issue:
I am trying to implement a filter on a page that uses a taxonomy to filter a loop query. The issue can be seen on the following pages: english: lien caché and german: lien caché.

Symptoms:
Filters are visible on the German translated page, but not on the original language (English).

Questions:
Why are the filters not visible on the original English page?
How can I make the filter items available on all languages?
