In my user profile settings, the language selected is English. Symptoms: Some plugins, including WooCommerce, are displayed in German, and I receive admin notifications in German. When I select 'Set admin language as editing language' and choose English, it is displayed in English. Questions: How can I get back the English language of the site in the admin panel?

Background of the issue:
I initially set the default language of my site to a custom 'en-de'. Later, I changed the default language to German (de). In my user profile settings, the language selected is English.

Symptoms:
Some plugins, including WooCommerce, are displayed in German, and I receive admin notifications in German. When I select 'Set admin language as editing language' and choose English, it is displayed in English.
