We are experiencing an issue with WooCommerce variable products when using WPML.
Context:
The original product (English) has correct attributes and variations, including newly added options (e.g. Round cushion XL and Wedge cushion).
Attribute terms are translated correctly and visible in WPML Taxonomy Translation.
However, in the Dutch (NL) product translation, the variations are broken:
Many variations are created with “Any attribute” values.
Variation prices are missing, so variations are not shown on the frontend.
The structure and number of variations in NL do not match the original EN product.
The translated product is locked by WPML Translation Editor, so broken variations cannot be removed or fixed manually.
WPML UI no longer provides an option to delete a single product translation from the product edit screen or Translation Management.
What we need help with:
How to correctly re-sync or rebuild translated product variations so they are copied 1:1 from the original product.
How to safely remove and recreate a single product translation when the WPML UI does not offer a “Delete translation” option.
Confirmation whether this issue is related to known problems with variation price copying (regular/sale prices) or broken variation synchronization in WPML/WCML.
The expected behavior:
Translated products should copy variations exactly from the original product (no “Any …” variations).
Prices (regular and sale) should be copied automatically to translations.
Newly added variations in the original language should appear correctly in all translations.
Any guidance or official recommended fix would be appreciated.
