Symptoms: The translation doesn't appear on the front-end. I expected to see 'Conferencia' and 'exposición', but instead, I got 'Conference - exhibition'. Questions: Why doesn't the translation appear on the front-end? How can I make the translated terms appear correctly?

Background of the issue:
I am trying to filter custom post type 'event' with FacetWP on our page: link nascosto. We use an ACF field 'categories' in our 'events' ACF group as the data source. This group has been translated. The issue can be seen on this page: link nascosto.

Symptoms:
The translation doesn't appear on the front-end. I expected to see 'Conferencia' and 'exposición', but instead, I got 'Conference - exhibition'.
