Problem: The client is using WPML with Formidable Forms Lite and the Bellevue Theme. Although most strings are translated, a specific error message in the 'Contact Us' form remains in English when the form is submitted empty, despite being translated into FR, NL, and EN. Solution: We recommend upgrading to Formidable Forms Pro and installing the Formidable WP Multilingual Add-On for full WPML integration. This setup allows for complete translation of forms and error messages. The Lite version does not fully support translations through WPML, as it lacks integration with WPML's advanced translation features. For more details on translating Formidable Forms with WPML, please visit our documentation.

Problem: You are using WP 6.7.1 with the Bellevue theme, Motopress Hotel Booking, and an official add-on to generate PDF invoices. You are trying to translate automatically generated invoices for bookings in additional languages (FR/NL), but some items are not being translated despite the terms being correctly translated on all website pages and in automatic generated admin e-mails. Solution: We suspect this might be a compatibility issue since the PDF add-on plugin is not mentioned in our internal systems. Here are the steps we recommend: 1. Confirm if the issue persists when you disable all plugins except Motopress and WPML. 2. If the issue continues, consider creating a sandbox environment to replicate the issue, or contact the Motopress team to inform them of the issue. 3. Modify the plugin code:
4. Some strings may also need to be translated in String Translation. 5. Create a French booking to see if the invoice is then in French.
If this solution does not resolve your issue or seems irrelevant due to being outdated or not applicable to your case, we highly recommend checking related known issues at https://wpml.org/known-issues/, verifying the version of the permanent fix, and confirming that you have installed the latest versions of themes and plugins. Problem: The client was unable to save the language switcher settings in the Groovy Menu on their Bellevue theme website. Despite enabling the 'Show WPML language switcher' option and deactivating all other plugins, the settings would not persist, and the language switcher did not appear in the menu. Solution: We recommended the client to ensure that the menu was translated by following the steps in our guide: Translating Menus. After confirming the issue persisted, we requested access to a staging site to conduct tests without affecting the live site. Upon investigation, we updated the outdated theme and plugins, flushed the cache, deactivated and then reactivated the WPML plugins, and finally added the language switcher in WPML -> Languages. This resolved the issue, and the language switcher remained in the menu.
