Elementor - Unable to translate WordPress widget titles

Overview of the issue

If you add any WordPress widget into a page using the Elementor plugin, the title isn’t available for translation in the Advanced Translation Editor or String Translation page.

Workaround

This issue is already reported and our developers are working on it. As workarounds you can either:

• Manually translate the page using the WordPress Editor.

or

• Create an identical widget and translate it:
  1. Go to Appearance → Widgets and create an widget that uses the same title. You can delete this widget immediately afterwards.
  2. Go to WPML → String Translation and translate the string
  3. After that, the widget inserted in the page will use the translated string in the secondary language.
