Overview of the Issue
When you import products in secondary languages using the SKU as the matching field, the update process does not target the secondary language products as expected. Instead, the import updates the primary language products.
Workaround
This issue is fixed in WPML Export and Import 1.2.0. Updating solves it on your site, so you only need this workaround if you can’t update yet.
To safely update or import your products, use the product ID instead of SKU as the matching field when importing.
